Its been nearly a year since I posted - I didn't mean for it to be that long. I moved and found to hard to bake in a shared kitchen.
This is a cake I baked a year ago for my son, it was for his 16th Birthday. Every year I bake a cake for his birthday and try to think of something different to do.

The cake was incredible !!
I am still learning with pipping and need a lot more practice. Its about getting the consistency rigut to be able to pipe. You want it to be able to be firm to stay in place but soft enough to pipe. This is something that seems change every time I pipe and depending on which butter cream I use.
In the middle I added Malteaser buttons too!
